What to know
before you book
No surprises at pickup. Here's what's covered, what's added on top, and what to arrange yourself.
- Mileage: 300 km per day is included. Need more? Pre-pay extra kilometres at $0.50/km.
- Insurance: Mandatory liability insurance must be purchased through Raptor Rooftop Rentals for all applicable rentals. Additional comprehensive and collision coverage may also be purchased through Raptor Rooftop Rentals or provided by your personal insurance provider, subject to your policy’s terms, conditions, and coverage limits. Renters are responsible for verifying that their insurance coverage is valid and applicable to the rental vehicle for the duration of the rental period.
- Deposit: A refundable security deposit is required before pickup.
- Taxes: Alberta: 5% GST. BC: 5% GST + 7% PST.
- Not included: Ferry fees, park passes and campsite reservations.
